About May

Unusually, I chose to become an acupuncturist as a first career and studied for my BSc in Traditional Chinese Medicine: Acupuncture at the University of Westminster, London. After three years of full-time study in Chinese medicine theory and practice and Western biomedical sciences I graduated with a First Class Honours degree. During my training I gained experience working in both private and NHS settings.

I have now been in full-time practice for over three years and during this time have developed a particular interest in treating gynaecological and obstetric problems, especially relating to infertility and problems during pregnancy. As a result I have taken a huge step and am currently training to become a midwife at Sheffield Hallam University (alongside keeping up my private practice)!
